The following files can be used to edit your designs in EPIC.
The NCD file is the output file from the MAP program and represents the physical design. This file describes your design in terms of CLBs and IOBs. You can edit your design in EPIC, save it, then route your design with PAR.
The PCF file is an ASCII file containing physical constraints created by the MAP program, as well as physical constraints entered by you. You can edit the PCF file in EPIC.
